Zakah is an essential aspect of Islam in which 2.5% of the wealth of Muslims above the nisab (a minimum amount of savings) is given to those below the nisab i.e. the poor. In this initiative, the concept of Tamleek (ownership / possession) is guaranteed i.e. the poor become the owners of the zakat money empowering them with the dignity and choice to spend the money as they best see fit for their needs (food, shelter, clothing, education, medical expenses etc).

The people in Yemen are in dire need of your financial support. Please empower them with the opportunity to escape the years of suffering they have undergone.

In 2020 Mercy Relief has:

Provided clean fresh water to 130,000
