Bread is a lifeline for millions of hungry Yemenis

Bread is a staple in the lives of millions of Yemenis. It’s a lifeline that keeps many alive.

A lack of fuel, flour and crippling conditions on the economy has meant Yemenis have nothing to eat.

10 million Yemenis are currently one step away from famine.

We must act fast and save lives.

Mercy Relief has developed, smooth-running, localised bread factories to support those most in need.

Right now, we support 12 bakeries, providing essential bread to approx 28,160 people every day. You can help us increase this to reach those most in need this Ramadan.

The factories, designed to be self-manageable by locals, are providing a sense of normality to those who’ve endured 5 years of a brutal and devastating war.

With your generous support, we can continue providing bread to the people of Yemen.

But to continue running the bakeries we need a constant supply of flour.

100% of your donation will reach those most in need.

Please, help us today to continue providing a life-line to the people of Yemen today.

Mercy Relief has a great range of projects you can donate to, including the following:

One of Mercy Relief’s 12 Bread factories in operation in Yemen

Bakery: Since Ramadan 2019, we’ve provided fresh bread to 28,160 people.

£30 will provide fresh bread to 375 people. – £60 will provide fresh bread to 750 people – £600 for one ton of flour for 7500 people.

Ramadan is the most blessed time of the year to fulfil your obligation of Zakat. Every act of worship in the holy month is multiplied, so your Zakat will be rewarded more than any other time of the year!

Your Zakat for Yemen can care for orphans and the elderly, provide food and water, deliver healthcare and education, or even provide emergency aid. It literally saves lives.

We are working in the most hard-to-reach areas to deliver essentials and help the people of Yemen.

Help us reach people across Taiz, Hudaydah, San’a, Aden and Ibb.

Mercy Relief is a specialist charity operating in Yemen. This Ramadan, we have supported:
