In war-torn Yemen, every ten minutes, an innocent child is dying a preventable death and another mother is losing a child in her arms.
Mercy Relief has been working in Yemen since 2008. We’re on the ground delivering essential life-saving aid to those who need it most.
In 2020 we delivered food aid and fresh clean water to 250,000 people.
We opened two free emergency pharmacies and supported two hospitals with medicine and medical equipment.
We are working tirelessly to save lives.
“Whoever removes a grief from a believer from amongst the sorrows of this life, Allah will remove a grief from him amongst the sorrows of the Day of Resurrection” (Muslim)

About 24 million people in the country need humanitarian assistance, that’s 80% of the population, including 12.2 million children.
So far, more than half a million cases of acute malnutrition in young children have been reported in parts of Yemen.
At least 85,000 children under the age of five have already died due to a shortage of food.
This can’t go on.
