“To Allah we belong and to Him we will return.”

Our dear brother Hasan Razzaq returned to His creator on the 18th April 2021, during the blessed month of Ramadhan. He succumbed to his injuries after a fatal car crash at the tender age of 24. A beautiful soul has left this temporary world and moved on to the abode of eternity. Though we feel he left too soon, to Allah Ta’ala belongs the Decree of everything, and all we can do is pray that Hasan is elevated in the Next Life, that Allah Ta’ala has mercy on his soul, that He forgives all of his shortcomings, that his grave is illuminated, and that he is granted entrance into the highest levels of Jannah.

Our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) told us: “When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, and a virtuous descendant who prays for them (for the deceased).” (Muslim)

Therefore we have set up this page for Hasan to serve as an ongoing Sadaqah Jariyah for him, so that any donations that are made in his name can continue to benefit him in sha Allah and be a source of peace, comfort, tranquillity and happiness for him in the grave.

In this beautiful month, Allah Ta’ala showers even more mercy upon us and grants us opportunities for our duaas to be accepted. Please remember Hasan in your duaas especially during your taraweeh and tahajjud prayers and at the time of breaking your fast. Please also pray for his family, that Allah Ta’ala grants them sabrun jameel (beautiful patience), gives them strength to overcome this difficult test, and reunites them all in Jannatul Firdous.

In the words of our dear Prophet (peace be upon Him) when His son passed away: “The heart is grieved, the eyes shed tears, but we do not say anything which will displease our Lord.”

And when His (peace be upon Him) grandchild passed away: “Whatever Allah takes is His Him and whatever He gives is His, and everything with Him has a limited fixed term (in this world).”

JazakumAllahu khairan for your duaas and donations.
