Invest in Sadaqah Jariah this Dhul Hijjah

The Prophet (saw) said “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these days (i.e the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah)” (Bukhari)

Dhul Hijjah is here! The first 10 days of this blessed month are full of blessings and rewards – they are the best ten days of the year. Any good deeds we do during this time carries greater weight in the sight of Allah (SWT).

Just like in Ramadan, we should seek opportunities to maximise our rewards. One of the best ways to do this is to give charity. Giving Sadaqah is a beloved act in the eyes of Allah and our Prophet (SAW) encouraged us to give regularly.

So invest in Sadaqah Jariah during the best 10 days and increase your rewards and endless blessings in the hereafter, InshaAllah.

Start your orphan sponsorship during the best 10 days

As the most vulnerable children in the world, orphans desperately need our love, care, and attention. Protecting an orphan is an act so beloved to Allah SWT, it carries with it an unimaginable reward – it’s one of the greatest things you can do in Islam.

Just imagine the reward for sponsoring an orphan from the people the Prophet loved so much during the sacred 10 days of Dhul Hijjah. This is your chance to make a difference and increase your rewards in the hereafter.

Sponsor an orphan for £20 a month – can provide food, clothes, medical care, clean water, and a home for Yemeni orphans.

Sponsor an orphan for £240 a year – can sponsor an orphan for a year, providing food, clothes, medical care, clean water, and a secure home.

Transform lives by providing clean water

The Prophet (pbuh) was asked what charity is best. He answered ‘to give water’ [Abu Dawud]

Yemen is one of the world’s most water-scarce countries with over 14 million people struggling to access clean water.

Water is a simple gift, yet it’s a key way we can help Yemen. That’s because when you provide a community with water, you help to transform their lives completely. Building a water well is a long-term solution to water scarcity problems, which is why it’s considered Sadaqah Jariah – an ongoing charity with never-ending rewards.

Through our water projects, you can invest in Sadaqah Jariah whilst helping communities and transforming lives in Yemen. So, during the blessed 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, let’s refurbish and build water wells together.

£500 Help refurbish a water well – It costs £6,000 to refurbish a community water well. This means that for every 12 people who donate £500, we will be able to refurbish a well and provide clean water to thousands of people for generations to come.

£500 Help build a deep water well – It costs £20,000 to build a deep water well complete with an electrical pump and solar panels. If 40 people provide £500 each, we can build a water well for a community that desperately needs it.

Provide shelter for displaced Yemenis

There are around 4 million internally displaced Yemenis. Forced to flee their homes due to conflict, most are living in flimsy tents, exposed to harsh weather and disease.

Mercy Relief is on the ground working hard to deliver aid and provide long term solutions to the problems faced by Yemenis, but we need your help.

£500 Help provide shelter for a Yemeni family – A two-bedroom shelter with a kitchen and bathroom costs £7,000. That means we can build a shelter for a displaced family for every 14 people who donate £500.

Our long-term projects are a great opportunity to fundraise for a Sadaqah Jariah project with family and friends, allowing your loved ones to join in on the blessings and endless rewards too. So spread the word and help us refurbish and build water wells and provide shelters to help communities suffering in war-torn Yemen.

Have you paid your Zakat?

If you missed out on paying Zakat during Ramadan, here is another opportunity to benefit from the rewards of the holy month. Every good deed on the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah is rewarded abundantly, so pay your Zakat in the blessed 10 days to maximise your rewards.

100% of your Zakat will help the most vulnerable in Yemen fight against extreme hunger and malnutrition.

This is our chance to make a real difference to the lives of families in Yemen. Mercy Relief is at the forefront of delivering aid and protecting the vulnerable, but our work is impossible without your help. Thank you for your continuous support.

Together we are transforming lives and making each day bearable for those living in what has been described as a hell on earth.

This is our chance to maximise our rewards and make the most of this blessed 10 days of Dhul Hijjah. Please donate to our projects and share the blessings.
